Clothing store wins nomination

LIMESTONE clothing is in the heart of Calliope and on the map as a leading fashion retailer in the community.

Recognised at the Tourism Awards and now with The Observer’s Best in Business, everything is full steam ahead for the race/country wear outlet.

Desley O’Grady is the heart and soul of the business and has said they always try to put their best foot forward when it comes to customer service.

“I am just overjoyed to be nominated. I always put a lot of pride into my customer service,” Ms O’Grady said.

The store has been open for about three years and Ms O’Grady said it was great to have a business like hers in a town like Calliope because people don’t have to go anywhere, they can get it all at one place. Servicing Calliope and the larger community with race wear and country clothing, including big-name brands like Akubra and Blue Dog jeans, accessories, jewellery and shoes, the shop always has something new and exciting.

Ms O’Grady said the highlight of her business in 2010 has been surviving the GFC and moving forward.

“We are continually increasing our sales and it wouldn’t happen without our loyal customers support.”
