Light aircraft crashes at Sunshine Coast Airport

A LIGHT aircraft has crashed at the Sunshine Coast Airport.   

The single-engine craft came down on landing about 4.30pm at the Marcoola airport on the north cross runway.   

Three fire crews and airport fire fighters rushed to the female pilot's aid.  

Paramedics are on scene treating the woman, but it is believed her injuries are not serious.
