OPINION: O'Dowd's survey poses irrelevant questions
FLYNN MP Ken O'Dowd posted a survey to 60,000 homes recently, but Gladstone resident Gerard Kettle was frustrated over some of the questions asked.
Today he has voiced his opinion in a letter to the editor:
I RECEIVED the survey in the mail this week and although normally I refrain from making unhelpful observations in this case however, when I see a good opportunity being tainted at the taxpayers' expense it really is quite frustrating.
Why in the world would you ask people in the survey who they voted for and for their personal details?
Whatever O'Dowd's political motivation for this was, it's effect has tarnished the end results of the survey.
How can anyone now believe that the results will be independent.
- Gerard Kettle, Clinton
