Style Me Up will give lesson in dressing for your body
FASHION styling came naturally to Cassandra Fisher, but it does not for all ladies.
Style Me Up hopes to give Gladstonites all they need to know about fashion.
The event held at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre on May 25, will discuss a range of topics and local fashion outlets will gather to showcase some of their favourite looks.
Ms Fisher is one of two stylists on hand for the afternoon, offering fashion and style advice.
"I am most excited to see the look on these ladies faces of the fashion we do have right here in our community," she said.
"This whole event is based on teaching, inspiring and educating women how we should be dressing for their individual body shape, lifestyle and unique style."
Crystal McGregor is a token shorts and shirt type of lady.
But after an afternoon of styling she had a better idea of what shapes and colours she should wear.
"I tend to go for darker colours," she said.
The tall and slim-figured business woman was taken out of her comfort zone by wearing fitted pants, vibrant colours and flowing dresses.
Ms McGregor is a member of the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce and the Buy Local campaign, which are the organising committee's behind Style Me Up.
"It's to bring together boutiques to show Gladstone women what we do have here," she said.
