Lake Awoonga closed

THE Gladstone Area Water Board has advised that the recreational areas at Lake Awoonga will be closed to the public today today from 7am until noon, for controlled burns. 

Lookout number one will, however, remain open to the public.

The controlled burns form part of GAWB's annual bushfire mitigation program.
