Labor prints candidate’s flyer with wrong details

THE ALP made an embarrassing bungle on Gladstone candidate Glenn Butcher's election advertising, which was printed with incorrect details that Mr Butcher worked at the Gladstone port.

Mr Butcher said the misprint was an error from ALP state headquarters in Brisbane, after the rushed election announcement.

"I had answered some questions for them. My father-in-law had worked at the port," he said.

"Everyone knows I've worked at QAL for 21 years," he said.

"It was our week one flyer. It's been corrected for the next lot."

He said people he'd spoken to hadn't seemed concerned.
