Kyrgios reaches career high rankings

Nick Kyrgios will achieve his highest career ranking regardless of the outcome of tonight's quarter-final against Canada's Milos Raonic in the Miami Masters.   The Australian's previous best was No.25 last June, but he will jump to at least No.22 after downng Russia's Andrey Kuznetsov 7-6 6-3 to reach his first Masters quarter-final.   The last Aussie to reach the final eight at the event was Lleyton Hewitt in 2002.   Krygios, who beat Raonic in the fourth round at Wimbledon last year, said he hadn't been happy with his serve against Kuznetsov, but told reporters the other parts of the game were working well.   "I'm playing well from the back, returning well and creating a lot of chances," he said.   The winner of the clash betyween Kyrgios and Raonic will take on the winner of the quarter-final between David Goffin and Gilles Simon.
