Kiwi cops save hedgehog from death by McFlurry

YOU have to give it to the Kiwi cops. They know how to save a life.

Nelson police saved a life this week of a disorientated hedgehog with a McFlurry container stuck on its head.

The poor mammal was found drifting along a Richmond Road when it was found by police on patrol.

"ANOTHER LIFE SAVED," Nelson Police said on their Facebook page.

"A patrol found this guy wandering blind on the road in Richmond. Safely in the grass just before a truck came by!"

The post has garnered more than 3100 likes since it was posted.
