Kingaroy woman allegedly attempted to steal a vehicle

ON WEDNESDAY at 9.30pm police received reports of a man and woman attempting to steal a vehicle from a Markwell St home.

The man and woman allegedly used garden scissors to remove a louvre from the front of the house to gain entry.

Police said the pair searched the home, before stealing jewellery and car keys and were disturbed while trying to steal the vehicle.

They allegedly then ran off, leaving a bag behind.

On Saturday a 28-year-old Kingaroy woman was arrested.

She will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 7 charged with break and enter, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, contravening a requirement, failing to dispose of needle, and obstructing police.

Investigations are ongoing.
