Kin Kora roundabout work starts this year

TRANSPORT Minister Scott Emerson says work on the Kin Kora roundabout upgrade will start this year.

He said tenders would be going out over the next two months, with completion during 2016.

Pre-works were completed over the Christmas holidays.

Mr Emerson was in Gladstone on Tuesday to announce a new flashing lights for schools policy if the LNP was re-elected.

One of the first to be installed would be at Kin Kora Primary School.
