Kids get creative at Community Arts after-school class

JENNY Fournier and her students are excited to start a new term of after-school art classes at Community Arts on Goondoon.

Ms Fournier looks forward to teaching her students, and seeing how they interpret her lessons designed to enhance their creativity and knowledge.

"During our eight-week term I try to set lessons each week which cover different subjects, using a variety of techniques and materials," Ms Fournier said.

"Within the lesson I give them the freedom of expression to bring their own interests and creative style to the task."

There are still some places available to attend these art classes, and Ms Fournier welcomes parents to add their children's names to her waiting list.

Children can choose from Monday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon classes, which run at Community Arts on Goondoon from 3.30-5pm, and are suited for ages 6-12.
