Kids dig gardening activities, workshops for holiday fun

IF YOU'RE looking for something to do for the rest of the school holidays there's still plenty on around the region.

Stockland Kin Kora, is hosting the grassy heads workshop which teaches kids the fundamentals of gardening in centre court.

Friday is the last day of the workshop so don't miss out.

Scrapbook Fantasies is holding more scrapbooking and cardmaking courses on Thursday and Friday, letting children explore their creative side while beautifully presented photos and memories.

Kids at PCYC chilled out on Wednesday and watched movies and went on an excursion to the cinema.

On Thursday they're dressing up in their team colours and enjoying a day of sports.

Friday everybody is a hero on superhero day. Dress up as your favourite superhero and show off your powers.

Bunnings is hosting a DIY workshop today and will be having Australia-themed workshops over the weekend.

The second creepy cutlery contemporary clay workshop is on today at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery.

Children are encouraged to be inspired by the current exhibition when sculpting the fast-dry clay.

While no workshops will be continuing this weekend, head to the Australia Day events organised by the Gladstone Regional Council.
