Meteors games help kick goals against family violence

METEORS Football Club will dedicate its senior home games this Saturday to help raise awareness for domestic and family violence prevention month.

Games start with the women's team kicking off at 3pm, men's at 5pm and another game at 7pm.

The club encouraged both members and non-members to come along to its fields at Glenlyon Road, opposite the Botanical Gardens.

There will be activities in between games such as a 100m dash and penalty shootout competition, to get people involved.

A jumping castle will also be there to keep the kids entertained.
