Kick start home projects this winter with D.I.Y. workshops

GLADSTONE residents are invited to gain new home maintenance skills and make the most of their weekends by learning a range of handy D.I.Y. tips at Bunnings Warehouse Gladstone.

Every Saturday and Sunday throughout June, team members from Bunnings Warehouse Gladstone will host free D.I.Y. Workshops and share their expert advice with local residents.

The D.I.Y. workshops cover a wide range of projects including window and storage solutions as well as energy and water saving advice.

The easy to follow workshops will arm Gladstone residents with the skills they need to make the most of their indoor projects.

This Sunday a World Environment Day workshop will be held for adults where people can receive expert advice on sustainable projects to implement around their home.

Free kids D.I.Y. workshops will also run each weekend throughout June and will include craft activities, mosaic workshops, decorating and much more.

Kids can take part in a workshop to learn the importance of saving water and how they can play their part.

Bunnings Warehouse Gladstone complex manager Patrick Little says the workshops are perfect for people looking for indoor D.I.Y. inspiration.

"We encourage Gladstone residents to come in store this month to develop the knowledge and skills required to complete D.I.Y. projects around the home," Patrick said.
