KFC will close to get a little more zing in makeover

COLLINS Foods will start a major remodel of its KFC restaurant in Gladstone, with the refurbishment expected to be completed within three months.

Due to the extensive renovations taking place, KFC Gladstone will be closed from Monday July 6, with customers able to still enjoy their favourite meals at the Tannum Sands KFC restaurant.

The new restaurant will reopen bigger and better, inside and out, with increased seating and a two-lane drive-thru allowing two cars to order simultaneously.

Customers can look forward to a new KFC with an inviting, contemporary dining room complete with digital menu panels.

Collins Foods' CEO, Mr Graham Maxwell, said the refurbished restaurant will be worth the wait.

"The new restaurant features are all designed to enhance the customer experience," Mr Maxwell said.

"We are not only looking after our customers but also the environment by incorporating a range of environmental initiatives including energy efficient equipment."

Collins Foods Limited's state-wide expansion and upgrade program includes a number of new and upgraded KFC restaurants to better meet the needs of its customers.
