Kevin gives his all at the Benaraby drags

USUALLY a competitor, Kevin Luck travelled all the way from Yeppoon just to lend a helping hand on Saturday.

After he damaged the engine of his Super Street car in the first round at the Benaraby track, Luck had hoped to race down the strip.

"I damaged my engine and I couldn't get it repaired in time," Luck said.

He is also a part of a large number of volunteers who help out on race days.

"I have been a member at Benaraby for four years and the drags are run by good volunteers and that's what keeps it going," Luck added.

He has been involved in a wide variety of motorsport.

"I have been in motorsport for most of my life and also been involved in speedway," Luck said.

He took a break for five years before returning to the track 10 years ago.
