Junior Wallabys ready to go with sign-on day on Saturday

WALLABYS Junior Rugby League Football Club is gearing up for a stellar 2013 season and Saturday is your chance to get involved.

The club is holding a sign-on at the Wallabys' training fields on Tranberg St, from 10am to 1pm.

Under-18 coach Brian Pengelly said he would recommend all those interested in playing rugby league attend the sign-on.

"It's a very friendly and welcoming club," Pengelly said.

The year is set to be particularly exciting for under- 18s, Pengelly said, as they would be training and playing with the senior teams.

"It brings the juniors and the seniors together as a whole club," he said.

"It is a really big positive."

Pengelly said so far the under-18s were doing well at senior training.

He encouraged players' parents to come down as well if they were able to help the club out in any way.

Wallabys are still looking for an under-9s coach.
