Jailed journalist Greste to front Egyptian court again

AUSTRALIAN journalist Peter Greste, jailed in Egypt, will face court again this week.

He will have spent 116 days behind bars when he faces court again tomorrow.

The Al Jazeera reporter has been held captive, along with three other colleagues, since December 29 last year after their hotel rooms were raided.

He is accused of spreading false news and having links with the Muslim Brotherhood which is blacklisted as a terrorist organisation

Mr Greste's Brisbane-based parents told APN Newsdesk earlier this year they are enduring a "living nightmare".
Juris and Loris Greste have maintained the allegations against their son are ludicrous and his detention is unfair.
