It's two from two for Brisbane Broncos women as Baker stars

NRLW: Chelsea Baker's Brisbane Broncos are on the cusp of a grand final appearance in the NRLW's inaugural season.

Gladstone Wallaby Baker produced another solid game in the Broncos' 14-4 win against Sydney Roosters.

Broncos travel to Melbourne to take on New Zealand Warriors and unless there is a huge upset and other results go against them, Brisbane Broncos look set for a grand final berth on September 30 at ANZ Stadium.

While Baker, who has scored 20 points so far, wasn't prominent on the score-sheet this time, she did produce a try- saving tackle on the Roosters' Vanessa Foliaki.

Broncos coach Paul Dyer said the Warriors will offer a stern challenge.

"The Warriors are what we always knew they would be - every time you play against a side from New Zealand they're a big tough side that just love playing footy," he said on the Broncos' website.

"We have some quality players that haven't had a run in this competition yet so I'm really excited to potentially give them a chance to play there next week in Melbourne."
