Ramptons Danzenergy's two performances a visual feast
VIEWERS were mesmerised when Ramptons Danzenergy presented Snow White And The Huntsman and Hungry Town for its dance spectacular at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) last Saturday.
The two performances offered a visual feast of beautiful costumes, creative lighting and impressive hip-hop, jazz, and ballet.
Ramptons Danzenergy artistic director and owner Sherrie Rampton said the audience was the best yet.
"They were very responsive, loud and awesome," she said.
"They just love watching the next generation of dancers coming through.
"The littlies (two to four years) were really awesome, as was the last big number."
Ms Rampton said many people who were not usually appreciative of ballet had said how much they loved the Snow White performance.
"I really did try to make it for everybody, not just ballet lovers," she said.
"People said the ballet just flowed and was artistically beautifully.
"Mayor Gail Sellers was there - she was the same as me, just really enjoyed watching the next generation of dancers coming through."
The sensational dance group was delighted to be back on the big stage at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.
