Emergency team called to incident on Curtis Island

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched by Bechtel following an incident on Curtis Island on Wednesday that required the Emergency Response Team.

At least one employee working in a confined space was given medical attention following the incident.

The employee was assessed by on-site medical staff and later released.

Confined space work was suspended while work returned to normal in all other areas.

Bechtel did not provide any other information explaining why the employee needed medical treatment.
