Businesses get latest on Gladstone industry

MORE than 150 business owners attended the Gladstone Engineering Alliance Industry Update luncheon last week.

The event served for networking, but also included updates from five of the top industry managers including NRG Gladstone Power Station, Queensland Alumina Ltd, Gladstone Area Water Board, Boyne Smelters Ltd and Gladstone Ports Corporation.

Business owners were able to discuss some of their options in procuring work from industry, including how to go about it and what sort of work would be available in the next year.
