Industry figures meet for update on skills training needs

INDUSTRY representatives from around Gladstone came together for an update on construction and skills training needs in the region.

The event, organised by Site Skills Training, had more than 45 people in attendance, with updates from Site Skills Training, Construction Skills Queensland and Energy Skills Queensland, as well as guest speaker Paul de Gelder's story about surviving a shark attack.

The meeting was held at the Grand Hotel conference room.
