Iggy and 5 SOS win big at AMAs
AUSTRALIAN group 5 Seconds of Summer and rapper Iggy Azalea have taken home top gongs from the American Music Awards.
Sydney group 5 Seconds of Summer were named new artist of the year and Iggy managed to pick up two awards with rap/hip-hop artist of the year and rap/hip-hop album.
New Zealand singer Lorde performed her new single Yellow Flicker Beat at the ceremony, but failed to scoop up any awards.
Artist of the year was given to boyband sensation One Direction.
