Huge game for Capras

After a second consecutive loss away from home last week, the Capras return to Browne Park today in what is shaping as an extremely important game for us against our local rivals the Mackay Cutters.

We are currently sitting just three points outside of the top six and a victory is vital in our efforts to stay in touch with the leading teams in the competition.

Our defence has been a big issue for us over recent weeks and this is our obvious area of focus as we approach this weekend's game.

I have brought in a few new players this week to try and add some energy, enthusiasm and aggression into the team.

Tarrant Mariner will play his first game for the club this season after a lengthy lay-off with injury, and he is a player who always brings an aggressive approach to his game.

Chanel Seigafo, who is making his club debut, and Ayden Cooper who will play his second game for the club, will also be expected to bring some much-needed energy to our attack after a couple of very flat performances from the team.

The game commences at 6pm at Browne Park and it promises to be an exciting game against our traditional rivals.

See you there!!
