Huge blow for women All Star team with local House out

LOCAL women's rugby league star Kody House is out of the Australian All Star team that will play against the Indigenous All Stars on Saturday night at Suncorp Stadium.

It is a huge blow for the talented Gladstone player and she was left in tears on Friday morning.

Back rower House scored the Jillaroos only try last weekend in the third match of the NRL Auckland Nines' decider against Kiwi Ferns.

It is now down to fellow Gladstone and Aussie team-mate Chelsea Baker to help the Australian All Star team to a win against a highly unpredictable opponent.

House's setback is compounded with an injury to five-eight Allana Ferguson who aggravated her ankle injury she sustained in a pre-Christmas training camp.

Saturday's match is an at 4.25pm and televised on NITV.
