How you can help John Flanagan's family after tragedy

A TOUCHING tribute for Toowoomba man John Flanagan is being planned by his friends to help support his family.

Mr Flanagan, 19, was found dead after a search in rugged bushland near Upper Flagstone Creek yesterday.

He had been missing for four days.

Friends have set up the John Flanagan memorial fund to help support the former council worker's family after the young man's death.

"As a tribute we would like to band together as a community, show our support and for a 4X4 run down at Flagstone," the fund, set up by Craig Kirk, read.

The event will include a barbecue and raffle, with a $10 donation for the day going "straight to the family".

The fund, set up late Tuesday afternoon, has raised $230 of a $2000 set goal.
