Hotel ban for unruly women

MATTERS of the heart and unladylike behaviour on the same night landed two young women in the Gladstone Magistrates Court yesterday.

Chelsea Nance Lalor, 20, appeared in court on one charge of being drunk and disorderly.

She pleaded guilty to fighting with a man on the dancefloor of Bojangles Nightclub on March 17.

Lalor's lawyer told the court his client was aware she drank too much. He said the physical altercation resulted from his client's ex-boyfriend's indiscretions.

Kirstie Teena Moss, 23, also appeared before the court after being involved in an incident with a male outside The Reef Hotel.

The police prosecutor told the court Moss was heard yelling: "You f***ing slept with an underage sl** and put it on Facebook."

Moss pleaded guilty to a public nuisance charge and was fined $500.

Both women were banned from attending Bojangles Nightclub, Central Lane Hotel and The Reef Hotel for six months.
