Hoons will face court after being caught near crime scene

TWO men who were seen hooning around a crime scene in Barreenong St, Glen Eden, at 5.50pm on Wednesday were nabbed by the police.

A 31-year-old man had his number plates confiscated for seven days after being caught driving while disqualified.

The other man, a 28-year-old, was reported to have been driving while he was under a State Penalties Enforcement Registry suspension.

Both will face Gladstone Magistrates Court on April 1.

In other police news, a 25-year-old man was caught driving while unlicensed for the third time on Glenlyon St, just after 6am on Wednesday.

The man's vehicle was impounded for 90 days and he will face Gladstone Magistrates Court on March 31.
