Along with bike skills, other fun youth events include Bunnings workshops, loom-weaving and a horse-riding camp.

Creative Gladstone will hold an urban wall art and stencilling workshop, while Calliope Crafty Capers has two weeks of fun activities themed to match.

Our local libraries will also be holding events, while group bookings are now open at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum to visit the 2015 Curtis Coast Literary Carnivale's The Many Story Treehouse Exhibition.

The Many Story Tree House Exhibition is a perfect opportunity to inspire the young reader in your family.

It will be on display from July 14 to August 22 featuring illustrations by Terry Denton for the phenomenal Treehouse Series by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton.

Don't forget about the latest movies on at Gladstone Cinemas - including Jurassic World, and Inside Out for the little ones.
