The team gave the children an extensive interactive experience with the fire truck outside the station.

The children saw different types of aeroplanes, a helicopter and drove down the airport runway in Avis buses.

They then met pilot Vance, from Air Charter CQ, who let the children explore his seaplane.

They were lucky enough to watch two aeroplanes take off down the long runway.

Everyone had a great morning and wanted to thank the fantastic airport staff for providing the playgroup with a fantastic tour.

They also wanted to thank Avis for the loan of buses that carried them, Air Charter CQ and the aviation rescue team for their time and resources for welcoming the Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours Multicultural Playgroup.
