Hendra virus kills horse in Gladstone area

A horse found dead in the Gladstone area on Thursday tested positive for Hendra virus infection. 

The horse had been sick for several days.

A property in the Gladstone area has been quarantined by Biosecurity Queensland.

As yet no one is considered at risk.
