Help police find suspect from Boyne Is hit and run

AN ALLEGED vehicle hit and run occurred in a fast food restaurant car park, at the corner of Centenary Dr and Wyndham Ave, in Boyne Island at 7pm on Thursday.

The alleged offender has reversed into the front passenger wheel arch of the victim's vehicle, with a fair amount of force.

Police are seeking a male to assist in their investigations.

The male is aged between 30 and 40 years old, Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build, average height and was wearing a high visibility collared yellow and blue long sleeve shirt, faded blue knee-length work shorts and lace-up beige work boots.

Police are also seeking any information on a white two door hilux ute which may have damage to the rear of the driver's side tray and lights.

The vehicle has a nudge bar on the front and what looks to be a chequer-plate storage unit on the rear driver's part of the tray.

Any information in relation to the incident can be forwarded to Constable Bingham of Tannum Sands on 4979 9444.
