Helicopter rescue called in to airlift patient

A WOMAN at Heron Island was airlifted to hospital after dislocating her knee last night.

It's understood the 29-year-old dropped a dive weight on herself which resulted in the painful injury to her knee.

RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service was called out at 7.30pm and airlifted the patient to Rockhampton Hospital by 9.30pm.
