POLL: Health experts create motivational fitness website

HEALTH experts from across Australia have created a physical activity website with an aim to motivate people to exercise.

But while its still in its early stages, the creators are seeking participants to help test the effectiveness of the programs.

A team of health promotions experts from across Australia created the site TaylorActive based on years of research.

The easy-to-use program asks participants specific questions about their health and levels of physical activity, and develops an individualised fitness program which is delivered via interactive videos.

Anyone who is over 18, healthy and not currently regularly exercising can take part in the testing process. To learn more and to sign up for free, visit here.

TaylorActive has been developed by researchers at CQUniversity, the University of Newcastle, the University of Alberta and the University of Adelaide and has been funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council.
