Head to opening

IGA Sun Valley is opening a new Lenard’s chicken outlet tomorrow.

Since the first store opened in Queensland in 1987, Lenard’s has sold more than 400 million chickens, served more than 130 million customers and injected more than $1 billion into the Australian poultry market.

IGA Sun Valley manager Scott Perel said the official launch was to let people know that the famous chicken outlet was now in Gladstone.

“This makes a great addition to the store as IGA are now to able offer more value to the customers.

“Lenard’s have a diverse range of value added chicken products which will make cooking for your family a whole lot easier.”

Mr Perel said Lenny the Rooster would be appearing tomorrow at the opening handing out party bags for the families.

“Customers can win $35 multi-meal packs every hour from 11am-3pm simply by purchasing two different products at the store.”

The grand opening is tomorrow from 11am-3pm.
