No sign yet of missing man, police say

POLICE are urging people to come forward if they have any information about 26-year-old Kurt Kempton, who went missing on September 11.

Detective Senior Sergeant Luke Peachey from the Gladstone station said "all inquiries so far have failed to find him or his vehicle".

Mr Kempton's parents held a media conference on Friday in a plea to locate their son.

The Boyne Valley family said it was unusual Kurt to be gone so long without contact.

Mr Kempton left Boyne Island on September 11 in a grey 2012 dual-cab Holden Colorado, Queensland registration 780-TQG.

Call Gladstone Police on 4971 3222 if you have any information.
