Missing Riverview boy located safe and well

UPDATE: The 10-year-old boy missing from Riverview has been located safe and well.

EARLIER: Police are seeking assistance to help locate a boy missing from Riverview.

The 10-year-old was last seen by family on Thursday September 1 in Riverview but hasn't been seen by the family since, however Police believe that he was sighted on September 5 in the Redbank area.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to the amount of time he has been missing.

He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, around 110cms tall with short light coloured hair and has a solid build.

He was last seen wearing a blue and white long sleeved t-shirt with an emblem and dark track suit pants and black shoes.

Anyone that may have seen the boy is being urged to contact police.
