HARLEY Roebuck, 10, won the prestige award for the most outstanding tap performer at the Gladstone Dance Festival on the weekend.

He has competed at the festival for two years.

Dance pupil of the Miss Amber Wieland School of Dance, Harley has been dancing for five years.

The styles he dances are waltz tap, tap, foxtrot and jazz.

"I like the foxtrot because it's fast," he said.

Harley said he competed annually at the Gladstone City Eisteddfod and wants to become a great tap dancer.
