Hard work pays off for Fothergill
CIK Stars of Karting Series Pro Light national champion Cian Fothergill has enjoyed a stellar karting season, and is reaping the rewards after taking out a major win at the Australian level.
Remo Luciani of Remo Racing was impressed with Fothergill's efforts, especially this year, and has offered to sponsor Cian for him to race the Australian-built Monaco GP Karts.
Fothergill raced the kart in the City to Melbourne race recently, and said it was exceptionally quick. Unable to test the kart due to inclement weather in Melbourne, this was the first serious tryout in the new machine.
Fothergill will race Monaco GP Karts in the Clubman class instead of Phoenix Race Karts, and continue to race the Kosmic kart in Leopard and CIK, which also happens to be imported from Italy by Remo Luciani.
In 2011, Fothergill will compete throughout the state, as well as chasing championships in NSW and Victoria. Backing up again in the CIK series and competing locally when time permits.
