Input needed to maintain a healthy harbour in Gladstone

WHAT do you really think of Gladstone Harbour?

The Gladstone Region Environmental Advisory Network (GREAN) wants to know.

GREAN is seeking volunteers to lend their expertise and enthusiasm to help maintain a healthy Gladstone Harbour by joining a newly established sub-committee reporting directly to the Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership (GHHP).

GREAN chairperson and Gladstone Regional Council Environment portfolio spokesperson Councillor Col Chapman urged residents to consider a position on the sub-committee.

The workshops will be hosted at the Council's 109 Goondoon St building, next to the Civic Centre, from 5.30-9.30pm on January 30 and from 9am-1.30pm on January 31.

Anyone interested in being involved with the GREAN sub-committee can contact Cr Col Chapman on 0448 883 961, GREAN secretariat Heather Richards on 49776530 by January 20 or visit gladstone.qld.gov.au.
