FANS who missed out on seeing Guy Sebastian in Gladstone eight years ago will get another chance come February.

It was announced yesterday that the X Factor judge will perform in Gladstone as part of his nine show regional tour early next year.

The 2016 tour has been said to have a "stripped back" style, and it will be a sit down show at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.

GECC general manager Carly Quinn said they had spent the past eight weeks securing the act.

"We're very excited to have Guy here," she said.

"He nearly toured this region about eight years ago as part of his promo tour ... but his personal circumstances changed and he never got to come here," she said.

With ARIA Awards, over 11 top 10 singles, multi-platinum albums, platinum and gold certifications, over three million album sales and a voice and stage show he is excited to deliver, Guy Sebastian is excited to present his music once again to regional Australia.

"I love just getting out and meeting people," Sebastian said.

"Some of the characters I come across in regional Australia are some of the most interesting people and stories I have met.

"I'm really looking forward to this tour and stripping back some of the elements and making it all about the music," he said.

The Gladstone show is on February 2.

Tickets can be purchased from today at 10am here.

There are only 674 tickets available.
