Guilty plea on child porn offences

A GLADSTONE man has pleaded guilty in the Magistrates Court to two offences involving child pornography.

Tory Edward Davis, 50, appeared yesterday at the brief committal hearing.

Magistrate Penelope Hay read each charge and Davis pleaded guilty to one count of distributing child exploitation material involving a female child on March 3, and one count of knowingly possess a cartoon that depicted children engaging in a sexual act.

Lawyer Bradley Krebs said Davis agreed for the matter to be finalised at the District Court in Gladstone. A date for sentencing has yet to be set.
