IN COURT: Thomas Adrian Noble.

DISGRACED greyhound trainer Tom Noble has had his matter mentioned briefly in court.

Mr Noble, 69, was charged last year with seven counts of serious animal cruelty following the airing of graphic footage of live baiting at his Churchable training facility.

He was later charged with intimidating a witness after allegedly trying to get a fellow trainer to change their evidence.

Mr Noble has not yet entered a plea to the any of the charges.

His legal representative told Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday the matter would proceed as a full hand-up committal at the next opportunity.

Mr Noble was one of the first trainers in the state to be charged with live-baiting offences following the airing of the sickening footage on ABC's Four Corners.

He is one of six greyhound trainers who Racing Queensland banned for life in the wake of the live-baiting scandal which has rocked the industry to its core.

Magistrate Stuart Shearer adjourned the matter until February 10.
