ALMOST 400 riders took part in the 2014 Lowmead Reloaded at the weekend, hosted by the Curtis Coast Trail Riders Club.

A hugely successful event was graced with perfect weather for the strong contingent of participants who were able to ride on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, the track was open for four-and-a-half hours while Sunday offered more riding time with five-and-a-half hours.

There were open and novice tracks for riders, and even some very young riders enjoyed the day, all the way down to a few with training wheels on their bikes.

The action wrapped up on the two circuits at about 2pm on Sunday, but it was not only on the course that the enjoyment was to be had.

Camping out overnight, riders had a great night between the riding days to cap off the Reloaded event for another year.
