CQUniversity graduate shares his passion for education

KYLE Stein knew he wanted to be a teacher from when he was five years old.

"I was the kid who would force my friends to sit in two rows and play school," he said.

Yesterday Mr Stein was one of 34 students to graduate from CQUniversity.

When delivering the graduate address, the Bachelor of Learning Management graduate spoke of his passion for education and the difficulties faced by students throughout their tertiary journey.

Since completing his study last year, the passionate educator has faced many new challenges.

"I am now teaching 24 Grade 2s at Clinton State School," he said.

"It's been fantastic.

"Every day it's different."

Mr Stein grew up in Gladstone and attended Kin Kora State School and Toolooa State High before going on to study at the local university campus.

He said he'd recommend it to anyone.

"The fact that the campus is so small is a benefit," he said.

"People here can make time for you.

"I've made some lifelong friends."
