Gracemere foursome take win

WITH a combined nett score of 211, Gracemere's Glen Herdman, Brian Hock, Peter Goody and Rod Bredhauer ran out 2010 Centrack winners at the final at Yeppoon on Sunday.

They won by a shot ahead of the Emu Park team, Trevor Topper, Rod Hadwin, Kerry Marks and Ron Roberts.

Biloela's Adam Drochmann returned the best gross score of three over 74 with Gracemere's Glen Herdman taking out the best nett with a low 65.

Pin shots: Peter Causton, Lance Antcliff, Peter Goody and Kerry Marks.

The teams which qualified for the final included Gladstone, Miriam Vale, Biloela and Rockhampton.

Opening presentations, Centracks representative Brendon Ladbrook was impressed with the response for the tournament saying it was remarkable the way the event had grown since its conception in 2008. Central Queensland 2009 representative member Daryl Myles, of Moura golf club, is in a good position to represent the association in the 2010 inter-association teams event at Yeppoon golf club in November after scoring wins at the Moura and Wowan men's opens.

After the seven qualifying rounds Daryl is leading on 60 points from Rockhampton's Nathan Trezies 37 points.
