Gold Coast mother accused of sexually abusing her daughter

A WOMAN has been accused of sexually abusing her nine-year-old daughter, including allegations she dressed her up in a Playboy outfit and allowed men to rape her.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported the girl was allegedly held down by her mother while a man raped her, was forced to perform oral sex on her mother's friend and was forced to watch her mother have sex.

The Bulletin reported the allegations date back to at least 2014 and weren't revealed until last month when the child told a psychologist.

In one alleged incident, the girl was tied to a bed and left there for more than 12 hours without food or water.

The 37-year-old mother is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday where she is expected to apply for bail.
