Go wild on rides at the festival

ALL eyes are on the skies this week as festival organisers - and the whole city, for that matter, pray for a dry spell.

But rain, hail or shine, the show must go on and one of the biggest attractions will be the rides.

This year most of the favourites are back, with the Kamikaze, Zipper and Scrambler all ready to entertain.

Adults can relax with a picnic blanket and some goodies from the snack canteen while watching tthe entertainment.

As usual, there will be family fun activities such as the street parade, markets, ambassador and junior queen quest.

For young children and babies there are always the delights of the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, family fun movie night and the adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

If you are into rides, you won’t want to miss the discount coupons which will be available in Monday’s paper.
