Gladstone woman airlifted from Heron Island
A 48-YEAR-OLD Gladstone woman was airlifted from Heron Island on midnight on Sunday.
The RACQ Capricorn Rescue Helicopter Service landed at the island with a doctor and intensive care paramedic on board.
It is believed the woman had suffered a cardiac arrest.
She was transported to Rockhampton, and remained in a stable condition during the 56-minute flight.
